Graduated from Alexandria Dental School in Egypt, he completed fellowship in craniomandibular dysfunction from Tufts Dental School followed by his master’s degree in dental science and Doctorate in Dental Medicine, he then finished his diploma in Periodontology and became a diplomate of American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of international College of Dentists. 

He has been involved in teaching for over 28 years at Tufts and Harvard dental schools.  

Currently he serves as a post graduate faculty at both Dental Schools as well as visiting professor at the department of periodontology at Alexandria Dental School.   

Dr. Hassan lectures nationally and internationally on topic related to TMD, Periodontology and implant.
