Prof. Hala Aly Maher Ragab is a Full Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Director of Strategic Planning, and Chairperson of the Dental Artificial Intelligence Committee at the College of Dentistry, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She is also a Restorative Consultant accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, Prof. Ragab has extensive expertise in restorative and esthetic dentistry, strategic planning, curriculum development, quality assurance, accreditation, and academic leadership. She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, and completed postdoctoral research training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA, followed by a visiting research fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Her academic and research interests focus on evidence-based restorative dentistry, digital transformation, and the integration of artificial intelligence into dental education and clinical practice.
She is actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate education, interdisciplinary clinical training, research supervision, and the development of future-oriented postgraduate curricula.
An internationally recognized keynote speaker, Prof. Ragab has delivered keynote lectures and directed scientific courses at more than 38 international conferences and professional meetings across Europe and the Middle East. She has authored 37 peer reviewed publications, supervised more than 20 master’s and doctoral theses, and continued to contribute to advancing restorative dentistry, dental education, and AI-driven innovation in oral healthcare.
