“My career in the academic dental field started in 1989 as a resident at Fixed Prosthodontics department, Cairo University. Since that time I enjoyed my specialty and decided to achieve more of the knowledge of this artistic science. I got my MD in 1995 and I became an Assistant lecturer at the same department. Science and research never stopped and neither did I, that pushed me to get my PhD in Ceramics in 2001. I kept teaching, doing researches and lecturing since then till present in Ceramics, CAD/CAM and Digital Dentistry.

I’ve received numerous certificates in my specialty, contributed in many local and international conferences, and shared in the supervision on tens of MD and PhD researches done at our dental faculty. As a Professor of Prosthodontics at Cairo University, I’m honored to be one of the directors of the MD and PhD programs in Fixed Prosthodontics.

Due to cumulative knowledge in Dental materials, CAD/CAM and esthetic Digital Dentistry, I became a consultant, trainer and key opinion leader in those fields for many companies and institutions.

Being the DEAN of the Faculty of Dentistry – Cairo University from 2017 to 2022, Digital Dentistry became one of the main goals of the faculty regarding education, research and
treatment strategies.. “
