Dr. Elena Vasilevska Gjeorgieva was born in 1981 in Skopje. She graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2005 and in the same year became one of the founders of PHI Denta ES, which has since developed into a modern polyclinic and educational center.
She completed her postgraduate studies in 2011, obtaining the title Specialist in Orthodontics. Throughout and following her specialization, she has continuously advanced her expertise through numerous international courses and educational programs in fixed orthodontic techniques, self-ligating systems, lingual orthodontics, myofunctional therapy, and the use of mini implants as skeletal anchorage.
Her primary clinical focus is on passive self-ligating systems, particularly the Damon system.
In 2011, she expanded her expertise in temporomandibular disorders (TMD) through training led by Dr. Elisabeth Menzel (Germany). Since then, she has been actively involved in the treatment of patients with TMD and obstructive sleep apnea, utilizing splint therapy, the Damon system, and mandibular advancement devices (MADs).
In 2012, after completing advanced training with Ormco, she became a certified Damon System Educator. Since then, she has delivered over 60 in-office courses—both basic and advanced—across North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania. Her lectures focus on passive self-ligation advantages, clinical protocols, torque selection, early elastics, retention, and D-gainer concepts.
Dr. Vasilevska Gjeorgieva has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international congresses and symposia, including events organized by the Macedonian Orthodontic Society, Balkan Orthodontic Society, Kosovo Orthodontic Society, Montenegro Orthodontic Society, and the Alexandria International Dental Congress. She has also contributed as a lecturer in international webinars, including those organized by the Egyptian Orthodontic Society.
Since 2015, she has been a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, actively participating as a speaker at multiple international KOL meetings (Jordan, Dubai, Sylt, Athens, and Munich).
She has been an active member of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) since 2017 and served as Ambassador of the Macedonian orthodontic Society to the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) from 2017 to 2021. She is also an active member of the European Aligner Society.
In 2022, she completed postgraduate studies at the Privat Institut Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where she is currently engaged as a lectrer.
Since September 2022, she has been actively working with the Damon Ultima system, following advanced training and participation in international congresses and educational programs, including the Moroccan Orthodontic Society Congress, Arab Orthodontic Society Congress, and Envista Summit in Dubai.
Her clinical approach integrates aligner therapy, passive self-ligation, and TADs in the management of complex orthodontic cases. She is a certified provider for Invisalign and Spark aligner systems.
Dr. Vasilevska Gjeorgieva is fluent in Macedonian, Serbo-Croatian, and English, and actively lectures in all three languages
