New Trends and Advances in Dental Education, Faculty Calibration and Artificial Intelligence

AI in Dentistry

The circle of learning has been defined as a combination of pre-existing knowledge, understanding and meta-cognition in a motivating environment which has the highest impact on the student receival of the learning message. It’s the deemed responsibility of the faculty member to provide practice and feedback through facilitating the learner’s understanding , performance and insight on ideal model of when, where and how to apply the learning experience.  

As conventional approach to dental education has several disadvantages including cost, time and lack of faculty direct supervision, the introduction of realistic virtual dental education offers unlimited off campus training and improvement in tactile sensation without the involvement of faculty members thus enhancing the learning experience without any burden on the student and teacher. 

This presentation will highlight and illustrates new trends and advances have mutated the learning experience to coincide with the students expectations.
