Dr. Dimitris Tasakos graduated from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, obtaining his degree in Dentistry in 1997.  

In 2016, Dr. Tasakos became a member of the global organization Digital Smile Design (DSD). In January 2020, he received the Mastership certification from the Digital Smile Design Faculty. 

In March 2020, he participated in the DSD Masters Meeting II in Madrid, where he won the 1st award for the “DSD Mastership Presentation of the Year”.  

He is an ICOI Fellow (International Congress of Oral Implantologists). 

Dr. Tasakos has a rich educational activity, as he participates as a speaker or instructor in numerous lectures and practical seminars in Greece and internationally. The main topic of his presentations is Digital Dentistry, and specifically Patient’s Digitalization, Digitally Guided Dentistry, Digital Impression, 4D Dentistry, Digital Implantology and Implant Prosthetic Rehabilitation with particular emphasis on immediate loading protocols. 

He is an active member in the Research and Development sector of technology and software companies in Dentistry, while he is also active as an International KOL (Key Opinion Leader) for several of these companies.  

He is a KOL and member of the educational department of the Digital Smile Design Organization and co-owner of DVdental clinic in Athens, the only certified DSD clinic in Greece.
