With the advance of technology, paediatric dentistry is facing major conceptual changes in managing the oral health for children. This lecture will include strategies on prevention, caries and dental trauma management, and surgical technique. This change of paradigm is more than evolutionary but revolutionary. It will emphasise the current development of dental materials that enable the change.
